National Child Day is November 20th, but we are kicking off the month on Thursday, November 1 with 2 events for those that work with children in the South East!
National Child Day is November 20th, but we are kicking off the month on Thursday, November 1 with 2 events for those that work with children in the South East!
As always, we celebrate the right to play and this year’s theme is Nature and play.
The first event is an afternoon workshop by Bookmates called “Take it outside! Integrating Literacy and Nature”.

The second event is our annual evening presentation with supper and a guest speaker. The guest speaker this year is Corine Anderson, founding member of the Manitoba Nature Summit. Her presentation is entitled: “That sounds great but we could never do that here: How to increase opportunities for unstructured, outdoor play in your program.
