Thank you to all the organizations who applied for our 2024-2025 grant. You will be receiving your funding cheque at the AGM on September 12, 2024. If your organization is interesting in applying for our 2025-2026 funding year please contact us.
Funding for Healthy Child Coalition – Central Region (HCC-CR) comes from the Manitoba Department of Families and flows through the coalition banker Western School Division. The Coalition’s boundaries are the boundaries of the former Regional Health Authority of Central Manitoba, that part of Southern Health Sante Sud west of Winnipeg and Highway 75. The advisory council, with a key understanding of early childhood and parenting, as well as a knowledge of the region and its demographics, makes decisions on annual grant funding for projects which focus primarily on children aged 1-4 and address early learning and literacy, nutrition and physical health, positive parenting and capacity building. Please see the map below shows the geographical boundaries for HCC-CR. If your organization is within these boundaries you may qualify for funding for parent and child programming.
