In the spring of 2000, Child and Family Services and the Regional Health Authority of Central Manitoba initiated the Healthy Child Coalition – Central Region (HCC-CR).
Our Purpose
Development
To develop, implement and sustain a regional plan that supports grassroots organizations to develop programs based on nutrition & physical activity, literacy & learning, parenting support, and community capacity building.
Focus
To focus on the early years (ages 0-5) with a primary focus on ages 1-4.
Provide
To provide a forum for the collaboration and coordination of services to promote healthy children and families in the Central Region of Manitoba.
Grant applications for the 2024-2025 programming year are open. Application processes closes April 30, 2024 at 4:00pm.

Service Area
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 3:00pm. Please contact by phone 204-823-0369 or email [email protected] if you have any questions.HCC-CR has quite a large service region. If your organization falls within our region you can apply for funding.
